About Us

Caring for Tokyo's pets, one gentle groom at a time

Cat being brushed at the Lime Lab Zone studio

A neighborhood studio with a clear purpose

Lime Lab Zone opened in Shibuya after seeing how often pets were expected to endure rushed grooming. We built a smaller, calmer studio where a groomer can notice the difference between a pet who needs encouragement and one who needs a break.

Care that starts before the clippers

Every visit begins with questions about coat history, skin sensitivity, handling, home brushing and the pet's mood that day. That short conversation helps us choose the right service instead of forcing every animal into the same routine.

How a Lime Lab Zone visit moves

We check in, settle the pet, assess the coat and agree on a realistic finish before work begins. Bathing, drying, trimming and finishing happen at a measured pace, with clear updates if the coat or temperament calls for a change.

The people behind the gentle handling

Our groomers combine professional certification with practical low-stress handling experience. They keep notes between visits, share techniques with one another and know when a grooming concern belongs with a veterinarian instead of a salon.

Useful care for life between visits

A finished groom is only part of the service. We explain brushing frequency, coat changes, paw care and warning signs in plain language so owners can make small, useful improvements at home.

What we will always protect

We protect the pet's welfare, the owner's trust and the quality of the handover. If a requested style is not safe or realistic on the day, we explain why, offer a kinder alternative and document the next step.
